MEMBERSHIP

CRITERIA

After attending one monthly meeting and/or one First Friday luncheon, you may submit a completed Membership Application with an attached resume. 

The Board of Directors will evaluate your application based upon the following criteria.  

THE CORPORATE WOMAN is in senior management with a minimum of three years in position or the same professional field.

THE PROFESSIONAL WOMAN carries a professional license (i.e. MD, JD, CPA, etc.) and has a minimum of three years experience in her field.

THE ENTREPRENEURIAL WOMAN has a minimum of three years full-time commitment to her business with demonstrated levels of expertise and high visibility.

THE CORPORATE, PROFESSIONAL & ENTREPRENEURIAL WOMAN must have minimum compensation of $75,000 per year.

THE NON-PROFIT or EDUCATIONAL WOMAN is exempt from salary requirement but still must meet at least one of the above listed requirements.

THE ASSOCIATE WOMAN must be in their last year of Graduate or Professional School or has a minimum of two to a maximum of six years in her career in the same field.  She is exempt from salary requirements, must serve on a committee, and is a non-voting member.  Within seven years of becoming an Associate, she will need to apply to become a full member and meet the current salary requirement, pay the full membership fee and earn voting privileges.  Resume required with application. 

All applicants must be sponsored by a current WIB member and be actively employed (or enrolled in a graduate program for Associate applicants).  Should any interested and qualified woman not have a WIB member as a sponsor, one will be assigned.

Upon membership acceptance, you will be invoiced for the annual dues of $200.00 per year (pro-rated according to calendar quarter).  Members whose dues are delinquent (60 days or more) may not attend any WIB function.
